Massachusetts Hip Hop group known as "The Natural Mystiks" and has been in the eyes of the Pioneer
Valley's Hip Hop scene for over a decade. Around 2003 The Natural Mystiks and DRC split apart from each
other, and DRC embarked on what became a five year journey to formulate and cultivate his first solo
project. In 2008 DRC a.k.a. Da Rebel Cause released his first solo album "Smiling in da Sun". A 21 song
collection of raw hip hop, filled with masterful lyricism and a wide ranging landscape of production from both
DRC and Irish Moss. The album includes guests such as Mark Schwaber , Jah-P, and Binghi Ghost. This
album commonly gets reffered to by DRC's fans as "an album that didn't leave my cd player for a month!!!!!"
